***Black Friday Delivery Update***

We're pressing pause on our online shop.

This year, our online shop will be temporarily closed from 19th November to 26th November 2025.

What does this mean for you?

Although you will still be able to order pies and merch between these dates, any orders you place on or after 19th November will be delivered from Tuesday 2nd December at the earliest. Normal delivery schedule (see below) will resume from the 26th November.*

Why? Last year, the surge in online shopping around Black Friday put immense pressure on our courier partners. This led to some of our pie orders going astray or being severely delayed—meaning pies were lost or destroyed 😢

As a business committed to eradicating edible food waste, that’s the last thing we want to see. So, we’re taking proactive steps to prevent it from happening again.

How much is delivery?

We offer free delivery on food orders of £45 and over. Otherwise, delivery is £7.

When will my pies arrive?

We aim to deliver pies to you within 4 - 5 working days. To guarantee freshness and a speedy delivery, orders can only be delivered from Tuesday – Friday. We are unable to deliver on weekends, Mondays, Bank Holidays, or the day following a Bank Holiday.

Your pies will be delivered by APC or DPD. If you are not available to receive your package in person, please make sure that our courier can leave the box in a secure and safe place or leave your box with your favourite neighbour. Please bear in mind our pies are chilled and need to be put in the fridge as soon as possible.

• Order after Monday 8am and before Tuesday 8am – arrives Thursday 8am-5pm
• Order after Tuesday 8am and before Wednesday 8am – arrives Friday 8am-5pm
• Order after Wednesday 8am and before Friday 8am – arrives Tuesday 8am-5pm
• Order after Friday 8am and before Monday 8am – arrives Wednesday 8am-5pm

When will my merch arrive?

Our merch and gifts are sent via Royal Mail and will normally be delivered to you within 7 working days via first class post. If this should change for any reason, we’ll be in touch.

Where can you deliver?

We deliver across mainland UK, with some exceptions for parts of Scotland. If you’re planning a delivery in Scotland, please get in touch with hello@pieminister.co.uk. Sorry, we can’t deliver to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland at the moment. Your postcode will be checked at checkout.

Not going to be in when your pies arrive?

Your pies will be left in a safe place by our courier partners if you're not in. If you realise you will not be able to get home the day the pies are due to be delivered, please contact us as soon as possible on hello@pieminister.co.uk and quote your order number.

Why can’t I order just one pie?

For environmental reasons this just wouldn’t work! Each order needs a sufficient amount of ice packs and insulation to keep the product cool during transit. A lot of packaging would be needed to keep 1 pie cool, so we have decided as a company not to send out individual pies from our factory. If you are just after 1 pie, you can find our pies in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, Ocado and other independent shops. Find out more about our sustainability goals.

Can I mix and match pies?

Unfortunately, we no longer offer pick and mix requests on pies. Check out our mixed boxes for a variety of pie flavours.

Why can’t I mix and match classic and gluten free pies in the same box?

Our gluten free range has been certified as gluten free by Coeliac UK. They are made in a specific gluten free area of the kitchen to ensure there is no cross contamination. For this reason, we cannot send gluten free and classic pies out in the same box.

Can I freeze my pies?

Our pies can be frozen for up to one month, so stock that freezer up! Some of our seasonal pies get dispatched frozen and cannot be re-frozen upon delivery, unless still frozen upon reception (Gluten Free Big Cheese, Mooless & Clueless, Heidi & Gluten Free Mooless Moo).

What shelf life will the pies have when I receive them?

The pies should have up to 7 days shelf life on them when they arrive with you.

How do I recycle your packaging?

Our pie boxes are 100% recyclable as card.

Who are TeeMill?

We’ve partnered with Teemill for some of our merch items (such as t-shirts & bags), so you'll be taken to their site when you check out. Please be aware that the Teemill Terms & Conditions will be different for the Teemill items. Unfortunately, our online shop vouchers can’t be redeemed against Teemill products.

Returns & Cancellations

What’s your returns policy?

As all our products are fresh, you are not entitled to the regular rights of consumers to return goods within 14 days after receiving them. There is an exemption pursuant to regulation 27(1)(c) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Deactivation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, that confirms that contracts for the supply of goods are exempt from the right to withdrawal if those goods are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. This does not affect your right to cancel your subscription.

If you are unhappy with your box for one of the following reasons:

• Missing products

• Damaged box

• Box did not arrive

Then we will offer an appropriate refund as long as it can be shown that the box you were charged for was not supplied as it should have been. Please take photos where necessary and send an email to: hello@pieminister.co.uk for us to sort this out.

Can I cancel my order?

We work quickly to pick and pack your items. Unfortunately, this means your order cannot be amended or cancelled once in preparation.

If you have purchased a subscription, you can cancel your subscription by signing in to your account. Please note that any changes to an upcoming order needs to be made before 8am, 2 days before your delivery day.
