Deer & Beer
Wild venison, milk stout, mushroom & thyme
Deer & Beer is a warming concoction of Wild British venison, mushroom and thyme in an indulgent milk stout gravy, brewed by legendary Bristol based brewery Wiper & True. Deliciousness aside, there are many good reasons to try this pie; wild venison is high in protein, low in fat and has a low carbon footprint. Eating it is also an excellent way to protect Britain’s biodiversity! Wild deer no longer have any natural predators in the UK, so their numbers need to be responsibly managed to protect the wider ecosystem.
This pie is the perfect autumnal treat - super glossy filling and absolutely deeeelish.
